About the herbs...
Damiana is known to make one feel more happy, consistent, and relaxed. It is a full spectrum wellness herb used for depression, anxiety, severe PMS, sleep disorders, and for other wellness benefits.
Damiana is a circulatory stimulant- a substance that improves blood flow through body tissues.
For people who have poor circulation (maybe they have cold hands and feet or tingling issues with the nerves in the periphery of the body) this helps direct blood away from middle to periphery – bringing more sensation or more awareness to the nerves of the skin.
This is can be helpful plant whenever there’s that poor peripheral or poor superficial circulation and can be helpful when there are nerves issues with those parts of the body. This herb moves blood or Qi in the body.
With damiana, nerves are being fed and cared for. It is a nerve relaxer (great for mood enhancement.)
Damiana hails from Mexico and was used in ancient times by Mayan and Aztec culture and populations and was well-known back then to have the same benefits that it is known for today.
The alkaloid Betonicine found in Yarrow is anti-inflammatory. Yarrow is also a circulatory stimulant as well as an antimicrobial, expectorant, antispasmodic, analgesic, hypotensive, and emmenagogue. It is both cooling and warming. It is said that Trojan war hero Achilles was taught by Chiron The Centaur to use Yarrow to treat the wounds of soldiers. For centuries, soldiers carried Yarrow in war for this reason. Yarrow essence is used as an aura cleanser. It can be called "master of the blood,'; it intensifies the work of other herbs; it is used as a general blood purifier; good for disorders of heat trapped in body, spots; its warming action causes sweating if need be.
Marigold is a lymphatic anti-inflammatory to cool and clear inflamed or congested skin conditions. It soothes, heals, and promotes the formation of granulation tissue, and it also combats fungal infections.
